Terms of Service

Last updated: July 25, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Adrashu. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who we are and what Adrashu is

Adrashu ("Adrashu", "we", "us", or "our") operates a peer-to-peer crowdshipping platform (the "Platform") available via our website and mobile applications (together, the "Service") that lets a person who needs something delivered (a "Sender") connect with a person already making a relevant trip by flight, train, bus, or car (a "Traveler") who is willing to carry it for an agreed price.

Adrashu is a marketplace and communication tool only. We are not a courier, freight forwarder, common carrier, shipping company, or logistics provider. We do not take possession, custody, or control of any package at any point, and we are not a party to the arrangement a Sender and Traveler reach with each other. Section 10 ("Disclaimer of liability") explains what this means for you in practice — please read it carefully.

2. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate, current information when registering, and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password confidential and enabling two-factor authentication if you want the extra protection it provides.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account, and accounts may not be sold, transferred, or shared.
  • You may register as a Sender, a Traveler, or both — nothing prevents the same person from posting shipments and trips.

3. Verification and documents

You may optionally submit identity or other verification documents. We review submitted documents and may approve, reject, or ask you to resubmit them; approval of a document does not guarantee the document is genuine or that the underlying facts it represents are true — it only reflects that our review process did not identify a problem.

A "Verified" badge on a profile means that user has a profile photo and has had all currently-required document types approved. It is a helpful signal, not a guarantee of trustworthiness, and Adrashu is not responsible for the accuracy of information a user has provided to obtain it.

Documents you submit are stored privately and are only accessible to you and to Adrashu staff performing the review — see our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Listings: trips and shipment requests

Travelers may post a trip (flight, train, bus, or drive) describing the route, dates, available space, and price per kilogram they're offering. Senders may post a shipment request describing what they need moved, its size/weight, and (optionally) a suggested price.

New listings may be held for review before appearing in search, and Adrashu may reject or remove a listing at its discretion — for example if it appears fraudulent, involves a prohibited item, or violates these Terms.

Flight listings include a flight number and, where our flight-verification feature is enabled, an automated check of that flight number. This check is currently a simulated/mock verification: it confirms the flight number is well-formed, not that the flight genuinely exists, is on schedule, or that the Traveler is actually booked on it. Where the feature is available, Adrashu staff may separately confirm a flight number by hand; either way, flight verification of any kind is informational only and is not a guarantee.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of everything you post — the route, dates, capacity, price, and item description alike.

5. Prohibited items and conduct

Senders must not ask a Traveler to carry, and Travelers must not agree to carry, any of the following (this list is illustrative, not exhaustive):

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapons of any kind
  • Hazardous, flammable, corrosive, radioactive, or toxic materials
  • Currency, cash, negotiable instruments, or precious metals/stones above the amount either party is legally permitted to carry across the relevant border without declaration
  • Counterfeit goods or items that infringe someone else's intellectual property
  • Live animals or human remains
  • Items whose import, export, or transport is restricted or prohibited by the law of the origin, transit, or destination location
  • Anything the Sender has not disclosed accurately to the Traveler, including its true nature, weight, or value

Other prohibited conduct

  • Creating a false identity, impersonating another person, or misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity
  • Using the Service to harass, threaten, or discriminate against another user
  • Circumventing our fraud, verification, or moderation systems
  • Scraping, reverse-engineering, or interfering with the operation of the Service
  • Posting a listing you do not genuinely intend to fulfil

6. Booking, negotiation, and cancellation

A Sender and Traveler reach an agreement either by the Sender booking directly against a posted trip, or through the in-app negotiation/offer flow. Once accepted, a booking moves through a status timeline (accepted, picked up, in transit, delivered) that both parties — and, where the Sender has named one, a Receiver — can follow.

Either party may cancel a booking before pickup has occurred. Cancelling after a package has changed hands should be treated as a dispute (see Section 9) rather than a simple cancellation, since the package may need to be physically returned.

Adrashu does not guarantee that a listed trip will actually depart on time, that a booking will be honored, or that a cancellation will be convenient for the other party. We encourage both sides to communicate promptly through the in-app chat.

7. Payment

At this time, Adrashu does not process, hold, or transmit any payment between a Sender and a Traveler. The price shown on a booking (the amount agreed via listing or negotiation) is a record of what the two of you agreed to — how and when that amount actually changes hands (cash, bank transfer, mobile money, or any other method) is arranged directly between you, entirely outside the Service. Adrashu is not a party to that payment, does not guarantee it will be made, and has no ability to reverse, refund, or mediate it.

Adrashu may separately invite users to make a voluntary donation to support the operation of the Platform. Donations are not a payment for delivery and do not entitle the donor to any particular service level, priority, or outcome.

We may introduce in-app payment processing (for example via a third-party payment processor) in the future. If we do, updated terms specific to that feature — including how funds are held, released, refunded, and what fees apply — will be presented to you and will govern that feature going forward.

8. Location tracking

During an active booking, a Traveler may choose to share their device's GPS location so the Sender, named Receiver, and Adrashu staff handling a dispute can see approximate progress toward the destination. Sharing location is intended to build confidence in the handoff — it is not a substitute for direct communication with the other party, and Adrashu cannot guarantee its accuracy or availability (for example if a device has no signal or location services disabled).

9. Reports and disputes

If something goes wrong — a no-show, a damaged or missing item, inappropriate behavior, or anything else — you can file a report against a user, a booking, or a listing from within the Service. Our team reviews reports and may take action including warning, suspending, or removing an account, or removing a listing, but we do not guarantee any particular outcome, refund, or compensation, because Adrashu is not a party to the underlying arrangement between Sender and Traveler (see Section 10).

We encourage you to resolve disagreements directly with the other party first, since they know the details of your specific arrangement better than we ever can.

10. Disclaimer of liability

This is the most important section of these Terms. Please read it carefully before using the Service.

Adrashu is a venue that helps Senders and Travelers find each other. We are not a common carrier, we do not inspect, weigh, insure, or take custody of any package, and we are not responsible for what a Sender asks to be carried or what a Traveler agrees to carry. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Adrashu is not liable for loss, theft, damage, delay, customs seizure, or any other harm to a package, or for any dispute, injury, or loss arising between a Sender, Traveler, and/or Receiver.
  • Adrashu does not provide insurance for items carried through the Service. If you want your item insured, you are responsible for arranging that yourself.
  • "Verified" badges, ratings, reviews, and flight-verification indicators are informational signals based on user-submitted information and automated or manual checks of limited scope — they are not a guarantee of any user's honesty, reliability, or legal compliance, or that a listing is accurate.
  • You are solely responsible for complying with the customs, import, export, and transport laws of every jurisdiction your item passes through — Adrashu takes no responsibility for items that are seized, fined, delayed, or destroyed by customs or other authorities.
  • To the extent any liability cannot be excluded by law, Adrashu's total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the greater of the amount (if any) you paid to Adrashu directly in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars (or the local-currency equivalent).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Adrashu, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, including another user.

12. Ratings, reviews, and content you post

You retain ownership of the content you post (listing descriptions, messages, photos, reviews), but you grant Adrashu a license to host, display, and use it as needed to operate and promote the Service. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and must not be defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory — we may remove content that violates this or these Terms generally.

13. Advertising

The Service may display advertising or sponsored content from Adrashu or third parties. Clearly labeled sponsored content does not constitute Adrashu's endorsement of the advertiser, and we are not responsible for the products, services, or claims of any advertiser.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or another user, or for any other reason with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 9–11) will continue to apply.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll take reasonable steps to notify you (for example by email or an in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@adrashu.com.
