How Adrashu works

Last updated: August 2026

Adrashu links travelers with spare luggage space to people who need something delivered. Here's exactly what we do, what we check, and what stays your call.

1. What Adrashu is

Adrashu connects two people directly: someone who needs a package moved, and someone already making that trip by flight, train, bus, or car who has room to carry it.

We are the introduction and the tools around it — search, messaging, price negotiation, tracking, and reviews. We are not a courier company. We never take possession of your package, and we are not a party to the arrangement you reach with the other person.

2. What we check today

  • Email address — every account with an email must confirm it before posting or messaging.
  • Flight bookings — for flight trips, our team checks the booking reference by hand before a trip shows a verified flight. There's no automated flight-data provider behind it; a real person looks at it.
  • Cabin crew — travelers who fly as crew have no passenger booking reference, so staff verify them once and their later crew flights are fast-tracked.
  • Accounts we know — some accounts carry a "Verified by Adrashu" badge, meaning a member of our team has personally vouched for that person.
  • Listings — new trips and shipment requests are reviewed before they appear in search.

3. What we don't check yet

We do not currently require government ID from everyone. The capability exists and we may turn it on later, but on a young platform we'd rather not ask people for sensitive documents before it's clearly worth it to them.

We also don't hold payments. Adrashu doesn't process, escrow, or guarantee money between a sender and a traveler — you arrange payment between yourselves. That means no chargeback or refund process runs through us.

So: treat a listing the way you'd treat any arrangement with someone you met online. The signals below are real and worth reading, but they're signals, not guarantees.

4. How to protect yourself

  • Check their track record — rating, number of completed deliveries, and how long they've been a member all appear on their profile and in the conversation.
  • Keep messages inside Adrashu. If something goes wrong, an in-app record is something we can actually look at; a WhatsApp thread isn't.
  • Meet somewhere public for both pickup and drop-off.
  • Open and inspect the item together before it changes hands, so both of you agree on its condition.
  • Never send anything you couldn't afford to lose, and never carry a package you haven't seen the contents of.
  • Know what you're carrying. Items that are legal where you're leaving may be restricted where you're arriving — the item's listing shows what we know, but the traveler carries it and bears the responsibility.

5. What the badges mean

  • "Verified by Adrashu" — our team has personally vouched for this account. It means a real person at Adrashu is confident this account belongs to who it says.
  • Verified flight — the traveler's booking reference has been checked by our team for that specific trip.
  • Email verified — this account confirmed a working email address.
  • Ratings and completed deliveries — earned from real bookings that actually finished. They can't be bought or set by the user.
  • No badge isn't a red flag on its own. Most accounts are new, and everyone starts with nothing.

6. If something goes wrong

Report it through the app as early as you can — ideally before a handoff, not after. Our support team can see the conversation, the booking, and its full status history, which is what makes an in-app record worth keeping.

We can suspend accounts, remove listings, and block people from posting. We can't recover a package we never had, or reverse a payment we never held — which is exactly why the precautions above matter.
